Pilgrim Media Group, LLC (“Pilgrim,” “we” and “us”) is a non-fiction television production studio, and the producer of the television series, Ghost Hunters. We help fans stay up to date with the series through episode recaps, blog posts, news and events, and information about the cast and the locations they visit. We also provide an online shop for all the official series merchandise. We own and operate https://officialghosthunters.com, the online shop, the platform thereon, and the mobile application therefor (together with such website, collectively, our “Website”). This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use our Website. This policy applies whether you access the Website through a personal computer, mobile device, or any other means.

By accessing or using the Website, signing up to receive a newsletter or creating an Account (as defined below) on the Website, you consent to the privacy policy, including the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information (as defined below) as described herein.

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

“Personal Information” is your first and last name, your email address, your physical address, including a street name and the name of a city or town, your telephone and/or fax number, your credit card information, social security number, or any other identifier that permits us to contact you, and/or any information that we maintain that could be used in combination with any of the identifying information described above to identify you.

You are not required to provide the Personal Information we have requested, but if you choose not to do so, you may be ineligible to create an Account or participate in or complete transactions on our Website or obtain certain other services.

In addition to the above, for each visit to Website, Pilgrim or third-party processors automatically collect information about your use of the Website, your web session such as your IP address, the type of device accessing the Website (for example a mobile phone or desktop), browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system in order to facilitate your use of the Website and its services. We will treat this automatically collected information as Personal Information if it is combined with any of the information above. Ghost Hunters uses your Personal Information to:

INFORMATION SHARING WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS AND AGENTS

We will share your Personal Information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.

We may disclose your Personal Information to third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including, but not limited to maintenance and operation of the Website, and processing of payment information. Those third-party service providers (i) are permitted to obtain and use only the Personal Information they need to provide the service, (ii) are required by Pilgrim to protect Personal Information to the same extent as Pilgrim and as required by applicable law, including, if they process Personal Information of persons residing in the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and (iii) are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

PAYMENT GATEWAYS AND PROCESSORS

Areas of the Website where customers may license content are run by third parties, PayPal, Braintree and Stripe, under which each act as a payment gateway for our customers to make electronic check and credit card payments safely and securely. The payment information you provide, such as your credit card information, expiration date, and/or authentication code will be used by us in connection with PayPal, Braintree and/or Stripe to correctly authorize and process your payment. The applicable payment gateway/processor’s privacy policy will apply to the information you provide to them. Products may be purchased only by persons over the age of 18.

COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We may use Pilgrim and third-party cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies to facilitate users’ use of the Website. Pilgrim supports and honors “Do Not Track” web browser settings. CHILDREN

The Website is not directed at children, and Pilgrim does not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from users under the age of 13 or from other websites or services directed at children.
